Viking Slavic round shield with Kolovrat symbol - wood burning

I made this shield inspired by the early medieval round-shaped shield models.
It features Ancient Slavic ornamental patterns, steel bolts, and a metal umbo, it is made of 15mm thick birch plywood.
This shield is blackened using the technique of wood burning, it is treated with linen seed oil, and water-based varnish.
decorated with the techniques of wood-burning and staining.
The main symbol used in the shield is – Kolovrat – the symbol of the Ancient Slavic deity Svarog – the creator of Gods and the universe. It represents the everlasting circle of life and eternity.
The shield can be used as a decorative wall hanger or as a functional piece for medieval reenactment or LARP.
