Viking shield with hand hammered umbo

The design of this piece features 3 concentrically positioned circles formed by drilled holes of different diameters.
Circular ornamental braids related to the Viking period are also included as in my previous designs. The shield comes with a hand-hammered metal umbo, and a wood handlebar installed on the back. The wood I am using to create this model is 15mm thick birch plywood due to its lightweight and durability.
This shield is finished with various wood stains and linen seed oil.
The model can be used as a decorative wall hanger or for historical reenactment, LARP, etc.
