Viking shield with carved Jellinge Norse Drake ornaments

This piece features historical Jellinge Norse drake ornamental patterns carved into the plywood, both on the central section of the shield, and on the rim.
It is also featuring Viking-style braids, steel bolts, and a hand-hammered umbo, and it comes with a wood handlebar installed on the back.
The shield is made out of 15mm thick birch plywood and finished with wood-burning technique, as well as staining and varnishing with linen seed oil.
The shield can be used as a decorative wall hanger or as a functional piece for medieval reenactment or LARP.
